Jill and I are delighted to return to the Childwold Memorial Presbyterian Church to play on their summer chamber music concert series. We performed there to a standing room only crowd last summer, and were immediately invited back again this year. The church has extraordinary acoustics! We will be playing flute and guitar music from around the world. The program will include two song settings from Appalachia, a work based on an Apache folk tale, a Japanese piece originally for shakuhachi and koto, two tangos by Argentine composer Ástor Piazzolla, and a lively Venezuelan dance.

Sabbatical from SUNY Potsdam
Spring semester 2017
Great news! I have been awarded a sabbatical from my job as guitar professor at the Crane School of Music at the State University of New York at Potsdam for the Spring 2017 semester. I will use my time off to record a new CD of 20th-century guitar works.
